We are going live on Trellis Drive! The past few months we have been extensively preparing for the sale. We’ve gone beyond my usual paint, flooring, and staging strategies and done some significant remodeling to the home. The result is a very desirable home, which backs up to an open hillside on a great street that is convenient to everything. Taking the trails out the back gate, a person can walk to Vallecito Elementary School without crossing the street. Northgate Shopping Centers are close by, and Kaiser Hospital is just around the corner. Parks, schools, transportation, you name it, everything is close by.
111 Trellis Dr is a move-in ready home. Both bathrooms were recently remodeled. The kitchen now has stainless steel appliances, new quartz counters and freshly painted cabinets which are in good condition. I really like the paint job throughout the house. The white walls look very good in contrast with the refinished hardwood flooring and the new, contemporary grey luxury vinyl flooring we had installed in the kitchen, bathrooms, and family room.
111 Trellis Drive has been in the same family since the 1960’s. This is a trustee sale, and the parents have passed on, leaving three very handy brothers to prepare the house for the market. With great work ethics, it’s been a pleasure collaborating on the project with the brothers who grew up in the house. They have so much love and appreciation for the home, and we are looking forward to finding the next owner(s) who will treasure it as dearly.
It's apparent the family has always taken care of the home. One of the coolest things about 111 Trellis Dr is they put an effective drainage system in many decades ago. Even after the 11 atmospheric rivers hit this year, the area under the house is still quite dry, which is unusual for Marin County in general right now and Terra Linda in particular. Proper drainage can be expensive these days, and it’s more vital than ever for the health of our homes.
One last word on the neighborhood: I am biased. I have lived on Trellis Dr since 2007, and purchased one of the houses across the street from 111 back in 2017. Knowing what I do about these homes, if I were in the market for a Terra Linda home in 2023, I would jump at the opportunity to own 111 Trellis Dr. Everyone is looking forward to the next great addition to our street.
