Ask Me About Real Estate

Real Estate

My first broker once handed out t-shirts to her Realtors that said, “Ask Me About Real Estate.” It was a nice little marketing angle, and she literally encouraged us to wear the garments to the store so we could start up real estate conversations with anyone who came up to us. A lot of Realtors have built up successful businesses by chatting up everyone they can.

That’s not me. While I’m not a ‘secret agent’, I don’t do a lot of self promoting other than writing my blog and sending out my newsletters. I advertise my listings, and I typically get over 2000 – 3000 views on my YouTube videos. I just looked up my latest marketing campaign for 100 Marin Center Dr #71 and we had 13,350 views on our Instagram and Facebook ads. My website gets between 6,000 - 8,000 views per month. I have an MBA from San Francisco State with an emphasis in Internet Marketing, and with more than 20 years of real estate sales experience I have gained both academic and practical knowledge. Before becoming a Realtor I spent my working life in the service industry, and I believe my job is much more about service than it is sales.

This isn’t about me though. I truly want you to ask me about real estate. I want to know what challenges our face, and how you plan to achieve your real estate goals. I would like to give you my unbiased perspective before you make any decisions. You read that right, I wrote unbiased. I am not trying to get your business. Sure, I’d like to get your business, but I will tell you straight up if what you have in mind is a good idea, bad idea, or if you just need to do a little tweaking to your idea to make it great. This is about being of service to you, whether or not we end up working together. As Realtors we are much better at doing out job when we are trying to be of service and not trying to ‘make a sale’. Most people see right through that anyway.

So please, ask me about real estate. I’m here for you and I want to see if I can help you. What’s in it for me? If I am able to give you sound advice, even if you end up not buying or selling a property with me, or anyone else, then I will have fulfilled my purpose. I got my first job washing dishes and then busing tables on weekends when I was 13 years old. Since the beginning of my working career I have always been of service to others, and I will continue to look forward to being of service.
