One of the reasons I joined Coldwell Banker (CB) six years ago was because of our world class marketing programs. Since my business is heavily skewed towards representing sellers, and I live in Terra Linda, I felt it was important to join CB in San Rafael. CB does not stand still, and recently the best got better!
Some of you may already know that the CB listing show, At Home Northern California, on ABC on Sunday afternoons has been discontinued. The show used to feature YouTube videos of our latest listings, which I always thought was pretty cool. As fun as it was to see these properties on the small screen, they never translated into real buyer activity. Plus, the YouTube videos were rarely viewed outside the TV show. Those problems have now been solved!
Our YouTube listing videos will now be advertised on the internet with massive, targeted, guaranteed views. For instance, the first property I promoted through the new program was my family home at 19 Tanfield Road in Tiburon. As of this publication we have over 2.9K views! The results from the exposure were calls, email inquiries, and real-life showings! I also recently put 67 Dockside Circle in San Rafael on the market and we have 2.2K views. Most importantly, both properties are currently in escrow.
My MBA from San Francisco State had an emphasis in Internet Marketing, and it doesn’t take a guy with my background to tell you just how valuable this type of exposure is to sellers. The more people that see a property, the more chance it will sell sooner and for a higher price. One final, fun fact: most buyers find their homes through the internet, not Sunday afternoon cable TV shows.
