Fairfax

Fairfax is an environmentally conscious community with a large 'Green' base.  Ordinances preventing chain stores, styrofoam packaging and plastic bags are part of the plan to retain the character of the town.  The Art Deco movie theater is the center of nightlife with great restaurants and club venues for musical performances. Surrounded by open space and preserves, Fairfax is great for most outdoor activities.
